The Wanderer

by Einsamkeit

/
1.
The night spirit sighs stirring the air; The clouds descend in the rain; Wailing, the fragile stars fade, Flickering like the dying lamps of the tomb. Dark as the greatness of death, They guard that sad field of pale processions, Where the graves close behind the night. Beyond the haze Tearing the heart to pieces A groan breaks the silent depth. Memories and sadness fade away Embraced by the immense dark
2.
Emptiness 05:30
When all is lost And you feel the void Sitting near to the root of the oldest tree Reflections about my life Not all is so bad? The falling rain join the tears on my face A Emptiness scream of despair Drowning by the silence
3.
4.
Dying Alone 05:28
The silver light of the moon Fill the space with a dark atmosphere Everything is so peaceful Alone and cold my soul are so quiet At the end we die Alone and empty We are born Alone and we die alone There is not escape from this? In the Darkest nights you understand That there is nothing more than yourself Deceptions and crying is all you get The illusion of joyful is so frágile like glass Let you embrace by loneliness Enjoy the silence Die alone
5.
6.
The wind blow with anger My heart is dead The world is empty The desire has abandoned me The clouds fast encountered The oaks of the woods roar When the love and his pleasure condemn us Only leave us misery and a lonely torment. The wind blow with anger The dead grass Flies like spirits The sound of death Is near the inevitable end
7.
In this endless void Beyond the grey horizons The storm brings memories I want to forget Between tears and thunders My spirit is almost Vanish Sitting contemplating the infinity grey
8.
The Wanderer 04:27
Traveling in an endless isolation Walking over soft ground I heard the sound like broken bones A pale light bright my path without an end My skin ripping away By the freezing winds that come from an unknown place All is so quiet around me All is so quiet around me A dark voice in my head, is my only companion And now i see Thousands of black vultures Flying and waiting for my fall The leafs falls as a sign That the death is near Where the sun and the moon are vanished Where the last breath of my soul arise And falls to be one with this ground
9.
"Build me my tomb," the Raven said, "Within the dark yew-tree, So in the Autumn yewberries Sad lamps may burn for me. Summon the haunted beetle, From twilight bud and bloom, To drone a gloomy dirge for me At dusk above my tomb. Beseech ye too the glowworm To rear her cloudy flame, Where the small, flickering bats resort, Whistling in tears my name. Let the round dew a whisper make, Welling on twig and thorn; And only the grey cock at night Call through his silver horn. And you, dear sisters, don your black For ever and a day, To show how true a raven In his tomb is laid away." Walter de la Mare (1873-1956)
